Question 2024 US Availability

Heard from my SA today and his dealership reached out to their Lexus USA sales rep for info on the 24 for me and was told at this point in time US production would begin Q3 but it has not been confirmed. The EU press release indicates production to begin in May. Does anyone here know if Lexus EU production traditionally begins before US?

I'm hoping some youtube reviewers get their hands on these cars soon so we can see the changes in video form rather than just a few pics.

Are they taking MY24 orders yet? My dealership said they weren't but if it's one thing I've learned, it's to never trust the dealership 😅

More like....never trust anything Lexus does or says for a special order of anything.

Seriously....the way they treat special orders is a joke.

My Canadian-spec model is supposed to go into production in the next 14 days, or so I hear. Will report back.

so i don't get why "24" models are theoretically coming out so early this year.

it’s quite baffling…especially since the 2023 model was announced in Oct 2022…

This is why I’d like to know when Lexus typically releases new MY’s in EU.

I believe someone here said anything not built yet/scheduled for production will no longer be a 23 but 24. Short model years do happen occasionally. I will be speaking with my sa today and will see if he can confirm it.

Do any Lexus SA's really know anything that isn't posted on the internet? LoL

by 'sa' do you mean service advisor, sales associate, or someone else?

if in service, how do you have one since you don't have the car?
if in sales, don't believe it.

Sales Associate

The 23 moving to a 24 was posted by a member here in another thread re their order.

No matter, if it's May, July or even October production I will wait, as these changes are exactly what I've been hoping for.
