The LC gets attention.
I was driving and a guy pulls up alongside and motions for me to roll down my window.
I could swear I was careful and I didn't cut him off.
He says," Is that a LEXUS?"
After I confirm, he comments on how neat it looks.
This is not the first time this has happened with the LC, I guess I don't appreciate how nice the car appears as it is my DD.

The LC is a stunning looking car. It's one of those vehicles that you have to see up close and personal to really appreciate. No pics, no videos can do it justice.
I used to recall seeing pics/videos of Nori Green LC500s' and shaking my head in utter disagreement. But when I saw one in a showroom with the beige interior I was blown away.
Had a tough time over the last year deciding between getting the LC or the IS500, but opted for the latter given many considerations (useable rear seats, winter driving, etc. etc.) .
But the LC500 is definitely an icon and will be the last of a breed.

I drive my LC in a big city and people are usually reserved and keep to themselves and no one bats an eye for most luxury cars here because there are so many of them but this car really attracts so much attention. This is the kind of stuff thats happened so far:
- People snapping photos of my car from inside their car behind me or off to the side at traffic light stops (i can see them in my mirrors)
- People literally stopping while crossing the road to take pictures of my car, smile and give a thumbs up
- General gawking from people on the side of the street
- People coming up and talking to me wondering what the hell it is
- People shouting "nice car bro" from as far as 100 meters away as they drive by. Most people usually just come up and tell me though
- Even had border police tell me nice car as i crossed over into another country, on multiple occassions. One cop even asked me if my car had a widebody kit or if it came that way from the factory lol
One thing i really like is that literally all the attention i get is positive. Nothing remotely negative at all. No dirty looks or contempt from anyone, period. I have seen some negative reactions to cars like ferraris and especially lambos here. These cars are probably less socially well-recieved. But a lexus badge really seems to convey a non-threatening, approachable image, at least where I live, which is a nice thing

The car most certainly attracts attention. Had a random stranger follow me in their car all the way into my block. They were probably just trilled to see one on the road in yellow. Their kid had their phone out taking pictures etc.
I also get random compliments from random pedestrians while at the stop lights/signs. I usually drive with the windows down on nice warm days. The best are the gas stations walk-ups. Due to the massive fuel tank in the LC, I'm usually just standing there waiting and people walk up and ask about the car. Most actually do not even know what kind of car it is or that Toyoda/Lexus even makes this car.
