it’s a sad state of affairs when a Nissan Versa which comes equipped with a self-granading transmission has more room and comfort than a lexus. 🤡 A LEXUS!!!!!!!🤡

Have you ever been to Europe? People in Europe transport whole families in cars like this. We are just accustomed to huge cars here in the US and that’s not the norm in Europe.

europeans buy small cars because the roads are narrow and the parking spaces are REALLY tight. driving a big vehicle in europe is a big pain unless you live out in a rural area.
but my brother-in-law there lives in a very dense neighborhood with tiny roads and he has a mercedes glc (cuv) which is 'huge' compared to most everything else.
europeans have also had tiny engines too because tax on fuel has been enormous. my nephew just got a mercedes cla with a 1.3L engine which they described as 'superb'. i just said congrats...

Bit too small for me.
However, for my mother's relatives in Paris, it is well sized - they have so little parking space, they park with two wheels on the foot path.
I understand what you mean by using a Toyota badge for the FWD-based GA-B platform.
I too would like TMC to restrict the Lexus badge to more premium RWD-based platforms.
However, TMC loves to badge engineer.

After recently returning from Europe, all I’ll say is that I totally get it. The rental Quashqai I had was huge in size over there. All of the luxury marques had similar vehicles to the LBX so I’m glad Lexus is playing the game.
