Default **Official 'I've hacked my rear view camera' thread w/ DIY & video

I made this thread for those few whom have hacked their rear view camera.
If you have feel free to post vids and post your experience.
For those that want to feel free to post questions.
Both my vids below can be viewed in 720P HD. Expand it to take up your whole screen then change the res to 720P (though it will most likely take longer to load pending your connection speed)

Here is the DIY thread I followed to make this happen.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ow-to-diy.html

This video below shows differences in day / night mode... Towards the end I show the reverse lights I used to assist my rearview camera whenever I decide to back up. That and because my taillights are painted black.

The second video I show how I have set my screen for optimal night viewing. These videos do not do it justice. The screen is a very nice display. I shot these videos in 720p HD w/ my cell phone. In real life the cars display is gorgeous w/ night viewing and the settings I've set it to.

The first video below shows me going throught he radio presets to prove the radio and all other functions still work fine while the camera hack is enabled.

The second video I show how I have set my screen for optimal night viewing. These videos do not do it justice. The screen is a very nice display. I shot these videos in 720p HD w/ my cell phone. In real life the cars display is gorgeous w/ night viewing and the settings I've set it to.

Remember to click the link and have the video expand to take up your whole screen then change the output on youtube to 720pHD
