I have been reading all of these LED light conversion threads for months. I'm still confused!

Here is two pictures of a factory plug harness from a Sewell "Stripped" version of there 2012 MY lights.

Can "fasttexasz" describe exactly what moves where?..and splices with what for the 100% power to the LED's - for absolute clarity?

If the lights are from Sewell they are already wired and plug and play. The only thing people change on the Sewell lights is if they want 100% brightness for the LED instead of 50/100. If you buy lights off of a 2011-2013 IS then they have to be wired to get power to the LED strip.

Thanks no wonder I'm confused, all that reading and I never picked up on that before.

So what needs to change for 100% brightness on my 2012 harness plug?

^^^^^^^what he said. Glad you posted pics of a sewell harness I've been wanting to see how they wired them up! Maybe ill pull mine back apart to compare. Glad the OP got his up and running I didn't have to trim my brackets but we had to trim zapa's because he used his from the factory lights. Again this could be a diff in years because all ihave done are 08's.

lights look great man.

as far as 100 brightness during the night. i have been pulled over for them. cop told me they are aftermarket. i said they are oem headlights and after he saw the DOT print on the light, he looked reallly puzzled and told me maybe it was the angle when i pulled out that made it look brighter, lol. i do get flashed a couple of times depending if i hit a dip where it makes my lights look even brighter but they do look great at night.

Thanks My dude, about the 100% brightness they are quite bright and am bit worried about getting pulled over for this. lets see how it goes...

i noticed that after i swapped out my factory HID kit to these lights, the left side hid is spreading big time really bad & its annoying. can this be fixed by adjusting the projector?

Correct... Theirs come prewired for 100%..

Off is Off
One click and they are ON
Two clicks and they are ON with Headlights

You would want to get your DRL's turned off by the dealership if you haven't done so already..
