Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Thanks a lot to all the guys that helped me on this. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Thanks to Joe Z on the ballast change over video, Cyberscorp for the tutorial and everyone else that has contributed to this thread.

The Sewell stripped..... plug and play as everyone says The only issue I encountered was some weird looking headlight bracket, that no one else has shown a picture of. I trimmed it to fit, but it is unknown how my bumper will fit tomorrow

I have not installed the bumper back on yet as I am putting the Lexon lip on tonight.

I love them, but it is a shame that the Canadian ECU locks out the DRL turn off feature that you American's have

I bet you could get the BEAN ECU from a US model and have the ability to choose your DRL option if you really wanted it. I've actually considered the idea of a foreign market BEAN ECU so I can get the window roll up option by pressing the lock button and holding it. We get the auto unlock with windows and sunroof open by holding the unlock but the US Lexus attorneys are convinced Americans are too stupid to handle automatically rolling the windows up with the key fob.

A foreign market BEAN ECU would allow the roll up feature?!?!?

Has anyone ran into an issue where only one headlight led works the other doesn't...probably a defective one?

It wasn't too hard, took about 30 min. We took out the steering wheel, which I recommend so you have room to pull the cluster straight out. Then take off the clear window and pull the cluster apart. Then the side cover where the AFS light is comes right off and put your black electrical tape over the LED. I took a few pics I can post.

Thanks CalitriSC - I fumbled my way through it....the speedo disassembly was an interesting learning...but I liked how the little warning light pod lifted right off. I taped over it with black electrical tape - this method works perfectly

I did not have to remove the steering wheel, just the shroud around it. Its a little tricky to manouver the speedo pod back in, but you just have to have the right angles...otherwise it slipped right out. Your right..took about 30 minutes.

The flasher replacement was a PITA!
