Just rewired my lights this and finally got 100% brightness. I would recommend using this repin. Thanks for posting the pics digger
looks good but i have a question for everyone...when i recieved my new set of stripped headlights from sewell the passenger side works fine but the drivers side led doesnt power up...
is this a defective unit?
i know some guys spliced and ran power from passenger to driver. i dont wanna have to do this if i dont have to

I'd call sewell and tell them of your problem. They are really good about fixing issues with parts. You could try verifying the wire harness looks like the photos in this post. I just finished a set this morning for Zapa based on these pics and it worked like a charm. Granted I did have to repin the harness not hard for a experienced DIY but or a novice may be a lil tough.

I told sewell my problem they sent me another set....hopefully replacing the driver side will fix the issue...if not i guess my only resort is to run a power wire from passenger to driver side...cause 2 in a row seems fishy.
Once that works ill look into achieving 100% brightness

got the new headlights and it still didnt work...driver side led still doesnt work
Check the connector harness very closely, and look for any bent pins or missing connectors. This is the only thing that remained the same since you already received new lights. Maybe you pulled some pins out that remained stuck in the old original lights, so check those connecters as well for evidence.
Def check the harness going to the lights you probably have a broken wire and just your luck it's the one that powers the LED. I'm talking about the harness on the car side that plugs into the headlight assembly. Good luck man.

any update on this? did you end up fixing it? I'm having the same issue...my passenger side LED comes on when I turn the car on, but as soon as the DRLs come on, the LEDs turn off and my driver side LED doesn't even come one.
