I know the video peaks a lot but does anyone else feel like there wasn't very much turbo sound? Especially at the end of the run. I'm not saying it's fake (not hooked up), but at the same time I really wouldn't be surprised... I searched their page and couldn't find any pics of what the hotside either...
no clue - just not understanding how they could have piped the passenger side exhaust manifold to the driver side mounted turbo and still maintain enough ground clearance. Maybe there is more space than i think...
Not that uncommon with V configured motors. In order to get both exhaust banks to contribute you'd need to wrap the exhaust manifold around the motor, or consider mounting the turbo as a rear mounted setup. The position of the turbo immediately next to the intercooler does make me think it's only being fed off one bank. With proper turbo sizing you shouldn't really need both banks contribution. The only issue then would be that there would be significantly more back pressure on one side of the motor versus the other.
I’ve put some thought into putting a turbo where the oem air box is, running headers the opposite direction and piping them all together. My conclusions are, it won’t fit without hacking the car and hood up, if even then. That’s a pretty big wheel, it’d be a shame if it was only running on one bank, and it’s overkill. If it’s running on all cylinders, then it’s more appropriately sized.
