Default Noises after coilover install

I recently installed coilovers on my Isf in the front and I’m hearing noises like maybe metal against metal or something of that nature I rechecked my work we tightened and torqued everything to spec but I still hear that noise it’s like a knocking noise sometimes when I’m going over certain road conditions basically at an a slower speed than usual

Did you tighten everything with the suspension loaded at normal ride height?

What coilovers? Do they have metal top hats?

Make sure everything is tight. Recheck. Sounds light something might not be tight causing the the noise.

I had this problem.
What is happening is that everything is tight as can be, then when the spring is SLIGHTLY compressed (eg going over a small bump), tension builds up because the spring cannot slide across the top or bottom surfaces of the shock, and then when it SUDDENLY moves, it makes a pop or twang sound.
I solved it by installing thrust needle bearings.
