SRS Light - Passenger occupancy sensor
My SRS light has come on, checked the codes, turns out that it is for the passenger occupancy sensor.
I have read horror stories about this issue, with most people saying that the whole seat needs to be replaced since the sensor is in the seat cushion, which will set me back about $2-3k.
Has anyone else had this issue? Do you guys know what I should check before trying to replace anything? I've read about passenger occupancy sensor bypasses which keep the passenger airbag on at all times, but can't find them for a Lexus.

Hey bud, so i just bought my F 3 weeks ago and i personally had airbag code b1861, knee airbag sensor for the driver side. i simply just got near the connector and squeezed it and my airbag light has been off ever since. if you can find the connector to the sensor for the airbag i would advise you try squeezing it to get the connection better to see if that works before taking it into the dealer.
