Default OBD2 data on nav screen?

Hey guys, has anyone ever been able to pipe the obd2 info such as coolant, water and trans temps to the oem nav screen? I found this video when i was deep in a ISF search mode on youtube... I cant tell if that's on the nav screen or actually a mini tablet somehow attached. At any rate- has anyone done this and care to share what system you used.

That would be cool if you could do that. But it looks like a tablet. You can kinda see the home buttons on the right side of it. Looks like its being held up by that gray thing.

Much easier way. Use a wireless OBD device like this one:

Amazon Amazon

Download the proper model year Lexus App to your phone ($9.90) and you're done. See this thread:

I used this on my ISF now on my LC.

The device in the video is pretty clearly attached to the nav screen. There's a big lip on the bottom of it, so it appears to be dedicated to this function, not leveraging the nav screen to deliver OBDII data. Also, the oil temperature never goes to the CAN or BEAN networks. The sensor plugs directly into the back of the instrument cluster. The ECM does not know what the engine oil temperature is. It only knows coolant and ATF temperatures.
