Arrow Engine Cover Delete

I'm considering removing the engine cover from my ISF and was curious how many have done this? I know it's a hot mess under there and won't be as aesthetically pleasing as having the cover on. My hope is to reduce engine bay temps with the assistance of a vented hood. Also thinking of adding RR Racing new strut brace which requires a slight modification of the engine cover anyhow. Not completely sold on this method and I'm sure there are pros and cons with engine cover on or off. Thanks for your input!

It may make the DI more noticeable as it has high density foam to absorb some noise.
Careful if you go cutting a hole in the hood as it is aluminum and mounting scoops etc. may offer unforeseen challenges.

I have a replacement CF hood going on. Thanks for the input on the engine cover though

No engine cover since day one. Why you would think you would have any problems taking it off is beyond me.

Mine has been off for quite some time. Partly because my side covers have a lot of broken retainers and also partly because I've beentoo lazy to put it back on..lol

Very good looking bay - best I've seen here. May I recommend spray painting the wire harness protector & adding some yellow (or blue) spark plug wires? =)

We use coil packs. You meant wire loom.

normally there are two hoses that run into the intake pipe after the throttle body. Where did yours go?

Blue hoses on top routes them to a filter on the back of the motor it looks like.

You are correct. The blue hoses to the back that connect to the filter. Venting the built up pressure to the atmosphere.

Nope, just make sure the intake ports are capped off if the barbs are there.
