Sometimes in winter... oh, it's summer in your location, nevermind.

I'd try retourquing the seat mount bolts.

Hi,

Not sure if you found a solution, but there are 4 bolts that hold / tighten the seat to the rail ... two in the front and two in the rear ... they are hidden from view by plastic covers.

You just need the right sized socket and drive to tighten them ... sorry can’t remember the socket size.

if you still haven’t found a fix then this will hopefully work ... I am happy to take some photos tomorrow of where the plastic covers are located and confirm the socket size in mm if it would help.

Any particular way which makes removing the plastic trim easier?

Hi,

Front of Seat - Plastic Covers

To make things easier I fully retract the seat to its most reward position.

Photo 1 - Facing the seat i.e. looking toward the rear of the car and starting with the plastic cover on the left hand side i.e. the one closet to the door. I then place my fingers at the bottom of the top right hand corner of the plastic cover and pull it up and to the left slightly ... it doesn’t require that much force, but I have removed them a couple of times previously, so mine might be easier to remove than yours, if it is the first time you are removing this cover.

Photo 2 - Shows the reverse side of the plastic cover

Photo 3 - Shows the bolt you need tighten - 14mm

When replacing the plastic cover it is pretty much the reverse i.e. start with aligning the cover over the bolt and then you push it back and down over the rail and it clips back into position ... you will note that as you do this the plastic cover will slide from the bolt toward the seat a little as it clips itself securely underneath.

When removing the plastic cover from the other side, start in the top left hand corner and pull it up and to the right slightly.

Rear of Seat - Plastic Covers

Again and to make things easier I move the seat to its most forward position.

Photos 4 & 5 - Facing the seat i.e. looking toward the front of the car and starting with the plastic cover on the right hand side i.e. the one closet to the door. I place my fingers at the bottom of the top left hand corner of the plastic cover and pull it up and to the right slightly.

When removing the plastic cover from the other side, start in the top right hand corner and pull it up and to the left slightly.

Hope this helps!
