08 head unit swap

08 head unit swap
Anyone know if you can direct swap a 2010 and up head unit into an 08? All the plugs line up and all that?

i don't believe you can, at least it has never done. 08-09 i believe they are the same and then on 10 it changed

Well that sucks! So the 08 and 09 are the same though? I know the only change between thoughs two years was the color going to piano black in 09.

You can put in a double din with an install kit from beatsonic.

thats awesome. and i like your steering wheel! i looked into the vline a little. is it android only? or do they have an apple compatible too?
