Anybody run a vented hood with no engine cover, and see any adverse effects from rain?

I have the Seibon TSII cf hood and dont use the center engine cover. I've parked in the rain before and just recently washed my car. The water only drips onto the two side plastic covers & airbox lid. Wasnt much water either.

what if you don’t have no side plastic and have a supercharger kit on it . I always wonder this myself . And always wanted the hood but might just wrap the car white after rebuild .
