Default SEIBON Carbon Fiber Hood owners opinions

Hi, Im considering a SEIBON CF hood in the future with the GT style vents on the sides, One of my major concerns is, If i take it to the car wash will water get in through the vents and hurt the engine bay?
does anyone else have one of these, and what are your thoughts about it?

From the people I've asked they said it was fine and we had Hurricane Harvey. Maybe put a towel over the intake area if you're nervous.

Water will go through the vent but hasn't caused any issues. Like nJoyRice said, we had a few ISF owners here in Houston go through hurricane Harvey parked in the rain.

It helps a lot.

Some of the local guys during canyon runs hit 4-5 bars on their gauge, but guys with custom vents or the seibon hood stay at 3.
