If you see the signs but the dealer can’t confirm the cause, you’ll be fine. As long as it’s documented and on record, you’ll be okay. My dealership went well over a year feeding me the same BS. All they did was top it off every time . Until one day, I decided to not top it off myself. I drove it in well below the low line and asked for an explanation on where was the fluid going? They kept the car over night just on that inquiry and confirmed the leak hrs later. I was well out of warranty but my concern was on record well over a year ago. I had nothing more to explain to them. I simply told them to get it fixed! And they did.

Did they bugger up your wiring harness on top of the motor or did they replace it?

The wire harness protector crumbles once tampered with. Something with the extreme heat and time that makes it become very brittle. I saw the techs work effort in making everything as tidy as possible. They replaced the wire harness protector.

Yes. A trashed one typically is wrapped in electrical tape. They must have started adding that to the warranty recall repair. Mine was in about 30 different (taped together) pieces and I’ve seen numerous people complain about it.
