Process of prepping my tips for getting blacked out... Should I black it out all or keep chrome tips?

I see black chrome on many higher end sport/luxury cars...it looks very sexy (of course, who thinks of a metal as sexy), no matter the color. It’s very uncommon still, so you’d be ahead of the curv. I did it on my Infiniti G before I sold it. Buyer found the look interesting, as did the dealership.

Nice, but how much should it cost to powder coat?

That came out nicely!!! I'm currently painting my diffuiser and exhaust tips myself atm! Can't wait to see the results. Also, did you install the diffuser yourself?

Cerakote coatings is the way to go if you want to black them out.

Just a question about the tips.. can the chrome ovals be separated from the rest of the mesh/attachements?

Bodyshop installed my diffuser - I am not patient enough to do a clean install.

FYI - I think tips would be about $100 to powdercoat. Depends on shop - I had mine coated in gloss black at same time I had my wheels refinished in a dark grey so I am not exactly sure of the cost.
