Re: the windows, one thing I don’t like is that it opens the sunroof as well. On my Infiniti, it only opens the windows. The F is like a wind tunnel anyways—there is no good open window setting to drive in that doesn’t hit you right in the face with a stream of air. Realize this may be nitpicky, but in all honesty this detracts from the nice weather driving experience of the F to me. Best I found is drivers window down, rear drivers window cracked, passenger side windows have to be closed. Sad.

Diagnostic mode:
I don’t remember which button but I believe it’s the info or menu button. If you press it and hold it and cycle the lights on and off four times you enter a diagnostic mode.
Seat belt chime:
1. turn the to the ON position (press Start 2 times), foot off the brake
2. cycle the odometer with the trip reset button until the ODO is displayed (not trip A or B )
3. turn the ignition to the LOCK (OFF) position
4. unbuckle the driver's seatbelt if it was buckled.
5. turn the to the ON position (Press Start 2 times). when the dash lights have come on, press and hold the trip reset button and count a slow 12 seconds. (editor's note, hold it more like 30 sec)
6. while still holding the trip reset , buckle the driver's side seatbelt.
7. the odometer display should read "b ON" or "b OFF". toggle the beep OFF with the trip reset.
8. the process should be completed when you unbuckle or turn the off
If I got something wrong here I’m sure someone will correct me.
