But can you hold down the lock button to roll them back up?

My Volvo did this, well, in every country but the US because its "unsafe" to roll them up automatically

They do not roll up with the fob. I'm in the US.

Getting out of my car recently recently and noticed “some red” in the guage cluster as I was exiting... smiled as I realized that the car was letting me know that the battery in the key fob was low.

You can reprogram the remote to.unlock all the doors on the first press (or when you walk up) instead of having to do it twice (driver 1st, rest 2nd)

Using this method lets you drive in D, keep both hands on the wheel and the shifter in D and not have to move it into M manaul mode. Benefits are it will skip down multiple gears with a single paddle shift as it exits out of D mode and becomes semi manaul, but not fully manaul like when you switch over the gear lever to manaul. Once you takr advanatage of the lower gear to pass you then just hold the upshift paddle for a couple seconds and it switches back to D.
Sort of accurate. When you hold the - paddle switch while in D mode, it invokes S mode which limits the highest gear the transmission will use. It is not the same as M mode. All the 2IS have this feature.

Re: the windows, one thing I don’t like is that it opens the sunroof as well. On my Infiniti, it only opens the windows. The F is like a wind tunnel anyways—there is no good open window setting to drive in that doesn’t hit you right in the face with a stream of air. Realize this may be nitpicky, but in all honesty this detracts from the nice weather driving experience of the F to me. Best I found is drivers window down, rear drivers window cracked, passenger side windows have to be closed. Sad.

Hold the lock button down on the door handle and the windows and sunroof close, works on mine, if you forget .

This is only available on the 2010+ IS XX0 models. I have a 2008 IS300 also and it will only shift using the paddles when the gear lever is shifted to S.
