What can 20k buy you these days? Oh, just one of the coolest luxury performance sedans ever made!

Some good points in the article, some bad. Also they stopped making the F in 2014, not 2013👍

But why have values slipped so far?
Ended up negotiating with a private party seller for under $34k, but man, there's no way I'd call these things cheap (or easy to find).

I just picked one up an 08. I wouldn't say they are cheap. I think in the long run it will be the better value. I like jap cars so the German cars weren't even on the table for discussion. I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep it but I'm having a blast.

Strongly disagree with the idea that ISFs are cheap. I spent well over a year looking for a 2011 (or newer) ISF with decent mileage for under $36k. I know that's not exactly LFA money, but it's certainly not chump change for a car that's 7 model years old now. The ones that popped up on dealership lots for less than $40k with under 60k miles always sold very quickly.

$20k? How many miles do these bargain IS-F's have?
I miss my 2011 F...but I paid $52k for it (with 16k miles). Granted it was mint and this was 3 years ago, but damn I miss that car. Probably the single best all around car I've ever owned.

They are coming down in price because clearly they are aging (although well I must say) and the mileages are going up on each car along with the condition coming down in a lot as well. PLUS, look at all the competition the car has now.... getting 550-650 hp doesn't cost much money now....back in 2008 when the F was introduced, 600hp wasn't under $100k new.
But the F in a newer model with more up to date features ('12-'14), in good condition and low mileage are STILL raking in pretty pennies (if you can find them).
