Winter Battery Disconnect
So I'm getting ready to put the F away for the winter. First time I'm doing this with any vehicle I've owned but I'm not going to drive it with these summer tires. I will be giving it a wash and adding a fuel stabilizer before covering it up. I don't have a battery tender and was planning on just disconnecting the battery. Is there any reset procedure I will have to do in the spring? I know with the RX, the windows have to be reprogrammed after the battery is disconnected. Will all the radio presets be lost too? I'm just trying to get an idea of how much of a hassle it will be in the spring. Also, if anyone has any other recommendations for putting the F away for the winter please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I put my F away every winter. Battery tender and call it a day with no settings lost.

A coworker has a spare battery tender that plugs into the 12V socket on the interior. He used it for his former Porsche 911 but its gone now. I was wondering if this would work with the ISF.

Battery Tender (izers ) are your friend. I have numerous vehicles and it would be nearly impossible to drive them all even on a weekly basis. I have Deltran Battery Tender harnesses hard wired into all of my street and off road vehicles (except my DD), my boat, Harley (all of my street bikes actually, but the starters in these V-Twins seem to need some crazy cranking amps), my daughter's quads, etc. Have been using them for many years with both regular old 'flooded' batteries as well as AGM/Gels. Rarely replace a battery and the vehicle is always ready to rock.
