Agreed, so many experts on this forum that don't own an ISF, meanwhile the cars are getting snatched up like warm chocolate chip cookies, for WELL more $ then people think... I've personally had several "watchers" on this forum private message me when i reply with facts and data and experience, asking me about my thoughts on a price, or a car they've seen, and most times they pay much more then they are willing to say publicly, because any dealer that isn't selling a rebuild **** box knows they won't budge, or price it right

Don't be fooled by the folks who "got one for 22k out the door", maybe they did, but what they didt say is, the car had 3 accidents, 6 owners, rust on the bottom from being on east coast, seat leather is destroyed, needed tires, brakes, and smelled like a cigarette smoking wet dog... ya that price was a "great" deal buddy...

Any clean title, well cared for, ISF will sell, sell quick and for more then people think, notice i didn't put "low mile" because in my experience people are still paying the moon for high mile CLEAN examples...

It looks like the dealer dropped the price of the car 2k. What do you guys think is a fair number to pay (given it needs rear tires and front rotors)? I know it has had several owners, but given that the car is mechanically sound otherwise and in good shape I think it is still worth considering. Any additional thoughts?

I would use the misaligned and rusting trunk as a bargaining chip (as well as the need for brakes and tires). I'm starting to like your initial guess of $25k. I know it sounds low but it's just a starting point. Good luck. Here's the service history in case you haven't seen it yet:

Did they drop the price again? I just noticed it's $26,999 now. Looks like they're trying to bait you. If this is the car you want I'd offer $25k given it's condition. At the end of the day I'm sure they'll need you to settle on a little higher price though. Keep in mind they probably gave the previous owner $21k-23k to trade it in. Or if they got it at auction they probably paid even less. Expect to be screwed on your trade-in. They are a business after all.

Yes, LOL to the overpriced part. Give me an example of another car at the 30k price point, new or used, that comes close to the ISF as a total package. Any way you look at it, your 30k is well spent on the ISF.

Yes, wrecked with undercarriage damage, towed, not drivable. My guess is the steering since the towing hook is attached to the rear. The butchers at Copart will toss her around multiple times (if she comes to a legitimate auction at all). BTW there are still reasonably priced ISFs with clean titles.
