How do the city dwellers bed their pads in? I live in such heavy traffic that randomly slowing down to 10 mph is not really safe. I remember someone mentioning holding the gas and brake at the same time? Can someone elaborate on that method?
Wait until as late at night as possible and go to a lesser used straight road. That's what I did. Personally I did mine at like 4am a few miles outside the city. Made things a lot easier.

Yea why don't you just bed them in at night when traffic is at a fraction of daytime congestion? Usually late Sunday nights are great for empty roads I'm even assuming where you live as well?

Your car won't do that. They had a ECM update to prevent this. Mine still does it because I refused the update.
The bigger issue is lights. I’m many lights away from the interstate. I may go late night, and drive very easy until I can hop on the interstate. It’s a mixture of avoiding the pads heating up and transferring high spots while I sit at a stop light.
