Default What do you guys think of this price on 08 ISF? Thinking about purchasing.

1. 2008 ISF 40,000 miles asking 35k (over priced in my opinion). The reason why I ask because if I ever wanted to sell in the future I don't mind losing money but I don't want to lose my *** on it.

2. 2009 Lexus ISF 35,000 miles, has damage reported on carfax still clean title asking 32k.

Thanks for the input and I am actively looking for an ISF asap so if any one has any leads to one please let me know.

Both may be slightly overpriced by a grand or 2, but both are VERY low mileage cars.... gunna be hard to negotiate because of the low mileage. Won't hurt to shoot then an offer though.
Me personally, if i we're gunna drop $35k on an IS-F now, I'd be looking at 2010's and 2011's....maybe even '12s with slightly higher mileage. Latter years had more upgrades and features....look into it.

Overpriced. Bought my 08 ISF with only 5,700 miles 3 years ago for $38k.
Agree with other poster....for mid-30s you could get a newer model year.
Saw a '12 ISF with 56k miles for $38k a few months ago. Was snatched up quickly.

OP,
In my opinion....at this point, I wouldn't spend $30k+ ( before tax/title/etc) on a F older than 2012 due to age and the factory upgrades that came in the later years.

A lot has changed in the last couple of years though? Now these cars are in greater demand due to the improved tunability offered......

Prices have gone up in the States (interestingly, not here in the UK as tuning isn't as big a deal), so I'm not sure these are necessarily that overpriced to be honest.

Do like the white car. If you can get a bit knocked off, I'd be all over that one personally!

Remember almost all of the updates found on later models can be replicated or improved on earlier cars if you have the money/time/inclination.

Good and complete service history would be a must for me. Doesn't have to be done by Lexus, but make sure it's had all of it's services and any recalls done.

Best of luck!

Cheers.

I think the white one is actually priced pretty decently for a super clean, low mileage, SoCal car (assuming it's as advertised).

Alot of you guys replying that they are overpriced are NOT in Southern California and aren't buying SoCal cars. This shouldn't be ignored.

I do agree with those saying you can buy a 2010 or 2011 for a bit more but it will also have higher mileage so research the differences in the model years (suspension, lighting, interior, bluetooth audio, etc..) and see if its worth the extra money for you.

If you are willing to spend more, there is a silver 2011 in Norco at a dealership for 40K. I didn't investigate, but it looks clean and has around 40K miles if I remember correctly.

There's also a black 2011 in SGV for 38K that looks quite clean but it has the orange trim which I hate.

Good luck on your search, I recently bought an 08 ISF here in SoCal and I love it! Super fun to drive and super rare, I've only seen 2 other F's in my 3+ months of ownership.

THIS! IS exactly why I'm thinking on holding off on purchasing one for a year. buy an is300 for now, save and play the waiting game.
