Hello aLL , i live in abudhabi-dubai
The garages where i live are very normal in inspecting and trying to read the faults of the car.

I installed ppe headers,after installation o had the code P174 and p1170.
I have sikky o2 simulator from a year !

The garage guy told me clean the injector which iv done it .no use !!!! Still same code

He disconnected the simulator to see what code i get ! I got the oxygen sensor codes with p174
And a new code which is p1236 !!
And now what he is saying its the engine ecu !!!!

Will a damaged O2 sensor cause this ?


Can someone help me here please !!

 

This is getting a bit to common contact PPE and ask there advice adding extractors does not effect injectors, its not your ECU it is a bad readings from the O2,s which is very common after fitting after market exhausts. Maybe the Sikky sims are conflicting with your setup, take it to a good shop and get it fixed let us know what goes on cheers.

 

Iv took the garage at dyntrade ~ lexus dealer .


They couldnt find the issue of p1236 .high fuel pressure .
the car works good ,after 5-10 minutes the code for P1236 appears and car seems there is a disconnecting and keeps working normal

Ppe have replied me and they will be sending new extensions for system to rich p174.

But i am not sure about p1236 what is the reason. whether it may be from the headers Extensions .



What may the reason for p1236 be ?
they told me they have checked the wirings everything seems to be fine .

 

Does driving with a cel harm the engine or limit its ability to get up to normal speeds?

 

Fuel pressure regulator not working correctly?

 

Too many things can trigger it to say with any certainty but that is why you invest in a code reader

 

Not really, but the engine will be in limp mode. Your transmission will never go into first gear and performance will be limited.

I have to check !
I think when they cleaned the injectors they did not keep it back correctly or damaged it ..!!
They have checked all the ecu wiring ~ no issue

the garage says mostly maybe the fuel pressure regulator .
i drive the car , but once you just try to little accelerate , the car seems its not getting enough gas.


and ppe have sent me new extensions for the headers.

 

I wonder if the fuel pump is going out? If it's not the regulator.

 

Did someone work on the fuel system recently? If you connect the two hoses going to the HPFPs wrong, the engine acts like this. AMHIK. Take a look at the online engine bay pictures and make sure your hoses look the same. I'd bet they don't.

 

i remember reading your thread on when you did this. Makes sense.

 

After one month of trying to solve issues
P1236 was solved by changing fuel regulator
But still i am getting p174 and p302,300 now !!

Ppe have sent me new extensions, but still nothing seem new ! Still same issue !!

New codes which came are p302,300

+p174 which is wasting alot of fuel i guess

 

P174 is lean condition, the p300,p302 codes are misfire codes. cylinder 2.

 

What are the possible causes guys for p174
I have installed new extensions

Leak ?
Intake problems ?

On the right side of exhaust tip
More smoke on the tips !!

Yet i did not install my simulator ..

I have changed headers o2

Is it possible its the exhaust sensor. ?
