Did you install the O2 simulator to the ecu? I'm not sure where the PPE simulator goes but for the RR Racing O2 conditioner, you have to solder it into the ecu wiring. I've been using it for abyear with 0 issues with gutted primary catalytic converters.

i did not install the simulator
i had sikky sim installed and at the same time i had the code P174 ( after installing the headers )
now i have : ppe headers with new extensions instaleld and borla exhaust
can P174 be from leak or an o2 sensor damaged ?

Once you install headers you will get an O2 sensor code because the mixture that the primary sensor reads will be the same as the secondary sensor. you HAVE to install the simulator and then post back your results. Also reset the ecu.
