ISF Tech Question (Bluetooth)
You certainly have A2DP. You have to enable it in your phone bluetooth settings for the CAR MULTIMEDIA. Go into those settings and enable multimedia. Right now its probably only activated for phone bluetooth. You also have to pair the A2DP profile in the settings in your car. So you pair the phone, then you go to bluetooth settings and pair again for the bluetooth streaming. I'm pretty sure this is all covered in the manual as well.
I tried looking for the car multimedia option and i could not find it anywhere. i am quite certain my vehicle is 2011 MY but it does not have bluetooth streaming. it has the ML sound system with Navigation. it has USB port and Aux port. I will try connecting my ipod to the USB to see what happens.
On the bright side I can now concentrate on the engine note. Maybe I will spend some money on the exhaust and make the sound more enjoyable.

okay removing that is not to hard.. I still am confused as to where the new box goes.. It looked like its mounted on top of the back side of the head unit?
I would check with the lexus dealer as since you are in Dubai it might be different spec then the US. Do you have hands free calling? Also you have a USB port which should be the 5th or 6th gen navi. What phone are you using? Is the phone updated to the latest firmware? Is your car bluetooth updated as well? This all comes into play depending on the type of phone you use. I know android is much easier to deal with bluetooth but there is some instances where you will need to update. The iphone is more tricky as its always a constant issue when apple releases a new firmware and the manufacture has to play catch up with it to make it work.
The spec difference is the case here I believe. I have hands free calling, ipod works when connected to the USB and can use my steering control to change tracks. I am using an HTC 10 updated to Android 7, also used an S6 Edge and BB priv with same results.
I also included the dip switch locations for which interface for it to be on and see text display.
So you hit Disc/aux once to get into that menu, hitting it again will scroll through your CD changer/aux.
I have an 08 ISF and use a blackberry gateway device connect to aux. get in the car and phone connects wirelessly to it, just have to press on phone to switch songs/play. Was $60 used but there are probably better options by now. I tried a few of the cheap Bluetooth dongle's And they were bad.
First of all apologies to the OP if this has taken a completely different route than intended.
