As i started my car yesterday, there was this noise that lasted for 15 seconds. it seems like it was coming from the cabin. is there a motor behind the cabin?

Funny, same thing happened to me this morning. It sounds like there are electronics moving where the nav is. I pulled out the DVD and the sound continued. I think the sound is similar to when the nav does a full reboot? Lasted about 5 minutes before I turned radio back on to drown it out. About 23 degrees F this morning (warmer than most days this month)

 

I heard the funny squeaky sound too. I turned everything off (but with key on) and still heard it. It has to be something electric like a stuck motor as far as I can tell. I turned recirc off and back on a couple times. I also messed with the fan speed and AC on/off. After that it went away for now. Hopefully that is all it was.
