Default CEL P2241 Headers PPE

So I have had headers for over two years now and throw this code this week. Only two things of note battery died on me this week which I replaced and had new spark plugs installed two weeks ago. My reading says it's the AF ratio O2 sensor? Thoughts that either it went bad or the PPE extension got a lose wire.

Thoughts or advice? I'm tuned also but I guess this sensor is still used. Thanks

Since you're tuned, remove the 02 conditioner. This will cause your CEL to keep popping on once it goes bad.

I don't think this sensor is simulated it's the upstream one. I did message Rafi.

You either have a short in your A/F sensor or the wiring extension.

you can swap the sensors left to right to see if the code changes banks. This will tell you if it is the sensor or the harness. If the code changes then its the sensor, if not, then its the harness.

I'm having the same issue here. Same setup PPE headers.
Was it a new conditioner that helped? or was it a loose wire?
I changed the sensor and it came back

If you are getting the same code, it is probably the wiring extension is loose or damaged. We have replacement harnesses if you need.

FYI
The new wiring harness solved this error code.

just got the same issue. Do you mean the harness that is part of the o2 sensor or the main one that goes to the ECM?

I still have these from my OEM manifolds when I installed my headers. Would these work?

Had P2241 turn on about a month ago, and just got it fixed today by replacing the AFR on Bank 2/Passenger. I have PPE Headers installed about a 1.5 year ago with brand new AFR sensors and with the PPE extension.

Depending on how the extension was routed, for me, the easiest fix was to replace the AFR sensor, first. I thought that if I change the AFR first, and CEL still there, it's most likely is caused by the extension/wiring. The way my extension is currently routed requires me to essentially take off the header since the extension is tucked behind the heatshield.

Denso AFR P/N for (either bank) that I installed: 234-9048

Yep. I've been detailing my progress on my build thread.

I've replaced the A/F sensor 3 times and each time it fixes it. But I believe my issue is related to ventilation as it happens after every track day since installing a chassis mounted splitter. Latest one I cooked on a track day in August and waited until the off season. Funny thing is that I hadn't had the code come back since then until this week.
This time I'm replacing the A/F sensor and extender, hoping it's actually the extender. But I'm not optimistic.

Sure seems like headers can cause some hassle on this platform.
