Anyone experience this before?
Socal3, where in Southern California are you? If you were in the north county area I would say come by the shop...not sure the boss would be happy but would want to take a look maybe after hours.
Looking at the errors you are seeing, it looks like there is a communication issue with the "skid control" ECU. It lives underneath the HVAC fan just above the passenger's feet. The U0100 error is telling you there is a comm issue, and the rest of the codes are telling you the skid control ECU is not passing data to the ECM/TCU. That really pisses off the ECM and TCU because it gets speed information from that computer. Have you done anything recently to the system - installed something electrical, done something in the passenger's footwell, or any other mods or changes? This is a very rare type of malfunction, and troubleshooting it might be a real PITA. If it is a bad connection on a connector, possibly intermittent, it could take some very methodical troubleshooting to find it, or you'll spend stupid money replacing ECUs and wiring harnesses to alleviate the problem. I had a similar issue on my Supra when it was about 13 years old, and it took me four hours to find one bad petal on one connector pin to the ECM. Luckily, the pins on these connectors can all be pushed out of the connector blocks and examined for damage. Individual pins can also be replaced if they are sufficiently damaged that they will never work again.
When you turn the F on, does your check engine light comeon and then go off when the engine actually starts?
Does the techstream connect to the car at all?
From the codes you posted, it looks like you need to recalibrate the yaw sensor.
If you originally used a cheapy generic scan tool to look for codes, it can trip the VSC/TRAC lights. Toyotas are weird like that.

Is this an X-horse cable? The one I have won't talk to my '08 ECM, but talks fine to a '12 ECM and the wife's Scion. Not sure what the issue is, almost makes me want to get the Mongoose cable and upgrade my TIS subscription. The X-horse works fine for all the other ECUs onboard.
I'm located in West Palmdale, but have a place in Redondo that I go to a lot. I would love to meet up with a fellow CL member who is knowledgable in this issue or anything would ratter pay them to help than take the car to the dealership! I also am funny and can bring beer lol.

what shop are you talking about I'm on Workmans comp for a few more weeks so time is on my side
The skid control ECM in the '08 isn't under the seat. It's under the HVAC fan. You have to remove the passenger's kick panel to see it. If you haven't messed with any of this stuff, the failure is likely a factory defect.
Thank you for letting me know the location I am a second owner so I will take a look at the ecm. Thanks again
