Default vsc/trac off warning lights

Hi!
I own a 2001 RX 300. In the past couple of days, the "D" light (for Drive) has gone off, the "TRAC OFF", "VSC", and malfunction indicator lamp have all came on (and will not go off)...plus, my clock on my display returns to 1:00 am every time I turn the car off. It sounds like an electrical problem...maybe just replace a fuse??
Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks so much!!
Susan

These are common indicators of your battery about to fail.

Have the battery tested, soon

"Interstate" brand is a good replacement, but any good brand will do. The battery type is 24 F

You'll want 580 cold cranking amps or better. There is a letter and number date code stamped on the battery top when manufactured. (E6 = May 2006)

I agree with Tamy's diagnosis that the battery is dying or dead.

The drive light bulb can be blown as well.

As suggested, confirm the battery is bad and then get a new one. My reccomendation would be buy a "sealed" battery; also known as maintainance free.

Once you have the new battery, hopefully the sensors would give within range information and the check lights would go away.

Tammy and Salim got to this one before I did.

The batteries can develop strange oddities. The reseting clock is the most common problem related to this issue. A new OEM battery under warranty several year back to care of that issue.

I had to replace my battery too...

as for the Drive light being out...It's just a natural occurance due to everyday use. I took my car down to the dealer and the guy said it would take time to pull the dash off, and if I didnt know that I was in Drive that I shouldnt be driving. Therefore, when nothing lights up on that column, I know I can go forward!

So true. I used to find the D light annoying on long drives to the border at night, (even when you turn down the dash lights), but now that it is off...just fine by me.
