Default high beams work but drl doesnt

I bought an 08 IS-F and didn't realize until later that the DRL does not work, my high beams and parking lights are still functional. Any solution to fix this problem?
Thanks.

The previous owner had the DRL disabled through techstream, same thing I had done to mine.

Hope this helps

i asked the previous owner if he disabled it, and he told me that he got 2011+ headlights right after he got the car, so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. but lets see if the dealer is able to turn it on first. thanks

So you have 2011 headlights with the LED strip (Nike swoosh)?

Unless it's a wiring issue (which I don't think it is) it can probably be turned back on at the dealership.

I am having the same issue as the OP which started about a week ago. I have always had my DRL enabled. They work for high beam but do not work as DRL's. I have no modifications done to the headlights. I was trying to research but was not able to come up with a lot of information. I heard it could possibly be the relay but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?
