That snow button does wonders for ppl living in the snow belt and using their cars on a daily basis. And like someone said it works great in the rain especially when your tires are well used up.
I meant the "MODE" button on the steering wheel was utterly useless - I was suggesting making that the Sport button. So you click Mode, you're in Sport mode. I don't use snow as I store my car which is why I said I could live without it.
However that Mode button, to me, is utterly useless. It cruises all available audio sources - why activate the CD/DVD if you're just looking to change radio bands?

I should have said that I'll do a write up if Lobuxracer doesn't make some comment about not soldering on a wiring harness. Somehow I knew that would be a response.

Anyway, this weekend I'll dig up what I have for documentation and post it for you.

I don't mean to fully revive this thread but have a question about swapping steering wheels. So my 2010 steering wheel is faded and worn out. I got offered a 2012 steering wheel with the sport button on it in pretty good condition. My question is can you swap the caps, buttons and face from my 2010 wheel, onto the 2012 wheel? I really don't care for the sport button on the steering wheel and just wanted to replace my steering wheel without shelling out a lot of money. Just wasn't sure if it is doable.

You won't have sport mode on the steering wheel. It will be on the dash. Otherwise, no harm, no foul.

I just want the wheel itself and transfer my old buttons and caps from my old 2010 steering wheel to the 2012. I just wasn't sure if those can fit in the 2012 wheel?

The switch groups fit regardless of year, or at least I was able to fit 2011 switches on my 2008 wheel without any modification.
