I don't think it can be disabled(at least not that anyone here has figured out yet), if its not sounding like mine on a non-tuned car it might be broken

How do you break a shift beep? Too much redlining?

I assume its something electrical, I do remember having it when I bought the car though and I didn't remove anything to cause it to go away.

did you ask the dealership?? This is odd. I love that damn beep. Its like a Pavlovian response for me. I hear it and I get hungry for BMW LMAO

Ask the dealer? That's like asking my 4yo son!
It's probably a thing that a dealer customer wouldn't even reach! I may try but I think they'll look at me like an alien.

Unless it causes other more serious problems I think ill pass on telling the dealer to go redline my car to figure out why its not beeping at me, personally I actually like not having it whether its broken or not. Did TTFS ever respond to you op?

Do ou have an exhaust? I guess I kind of zone out the beep now, but it is there. The exhaust noise drowns it out though, I thought it was a louder beep but it's not very loud

You're right. I have headers and exhaust. I need to be like super extreme attentive to hear it. My bad it's still there but totally useless.
I need to close the exhaust valves to hear it. Problem solved. I'm dumb.
