Default Bridgestone RE11

So I have been hearing great reviews on the RE11s. I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with them in comparison to the Mich Pilot Sports. I hear that the Mich Pilot Sports typically run wider in comparison to other brands and I have also heard that the RE11s run wider than the Pilot Sports. Can anyone verify this for me?

I have a set of Volks (19x10.5 +32, Rears) coming in and they are a bit aggressive but I want to fit as wide of a tire possible without rubbing issues. I've researched the forum and a member on here is running 10.5+35 on Mich Pilots 275/30 without any rubbing issues. I would like to run 275/30 but does anyone have experience with these specs?

I also prefer to run the RE11 but wanted to confirm if anyone know whether they do in fact run wider than the Mich.

I think you will like them. They are extreme performance tires and will really handle well and hold up to abuse better than the PSS. Nothing runs wider than Michelins. Nothing. I would love to try a set but they dont make a 295/30/19. Only 305/30/19

9.5" in the back with 38mm offset is flush, and with a quarter shave and lowering, I rubbed. 265/30/19.
On stock suspension, I'm not sure, but if you're lowered you'll need camber mods.

Jondls33, how bad are you rubbing? I will be getting Figs rear links and control arms to hopefully gain some clearance. I could have gotten better wheel specs but unfortunately the TE37 Ultras had limited sizing.

^^^^I'm on RCF 10" wheels, +41mm with rolled fenders. 295/30/19 Bridgestone S-04 and I rub if I go over a speed hump too fast or am traveling on a secondary road with imperfections going above 60MPH. The rub is only a fraction of a second. Around town, on the freeway and etc, all is good. With the combo you are speaking about the wheel edge will be .4" out further than mine.

And, this thread is now straying from the tittle.

i rub only with a hit a big bump or going fast on a dip.. It's bearable but lookin into gettin camber arms too to make some clearance and maybe pulling the fender out a littl

Thanks for the info. I don't anticipate on a big drop. I actually like the rear stock height but will be lowering the front with BC Coils. No turning back now, tires are on order.

Hopefully Bridgestone do not discontinue these tires. As of right now, according to tirerack, there's a backorder on the 275s with no future production date.

So it looks like I misread some information from the M3 forum. These tires are NOT wider than the Pilots.

Just speaking from experience but you'll want all the Figs goodies, mega arms, toe links and the upper control arms to fix your rubbing issues. I'm running 275 on a 10.5 +35 and I hardly ever rub anymore.
