Default Help anyone with 2012 headlight swap

So I'm attempting to wire my new 2012 headlights so the LED stays 100% all the time. There's a ton of how to threads with a lot of different ways to do it. The one I thought I settled on is thisHelp anyone with 2012 headlight swap-photo89.jpg
Now I'm ready to start and my harness looks like this. Help anyone with 2012 headlight swap-photo138.jpgAlready wires in the location that the black and red wires need to be. If anyone can help ASAP I would appreciate it.

Are you wanting the LED's to function as your running lights? (come on whenever you start the car)

Thanks Digger. I actually found your post earlier and decided to match it. Worked great. Thanks

Why aren't more people wiring up these to "auto on" by tamping into the ignition fuse for power to the LED? This way the LEDs instantly light up as soon as the ignition is on. You don't have to leave the light stalk on driving click for the LED to fully function as DRL independently

If you truly want to do this correctly. Tap your parking light to act as the switch for a relay (that is powered from ignition) to toggle between 100% when lights are off and 50% when the lights are on (parking lights in this case). Imo the 100% all the time is way to bright at night.

I did a DIY for exactly that.

Is your actual driving light on as well or just the LED strip? I have heard Canadian cars will have the DRL on still as well. It's kept me from getting '12 lights since I don't want both on.

Thank you for this…

Solved the problem for me as well…

In addition to the red and black wire, i also have the green wire shown in the bottom picture. Anyone who knows where the green wire should relocat to...? Or where the original wire leads to...?
