Default 2011 ISF Headlight Bubbling ever resolved? HELP

So today I noticed that both of my headlights had some bubbling in front of the projectors. So after a quick research I learned that most of 2011 ISF have this problem according to this thread.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ng-defect.html

So, was this issue ever resolved by Lexus? Please any advice on how to get this fixed will be much appreciated.

Thanks

There's a TSB for it. The 2012+ have a black chrome to help reflect the heat.

I also have a 2011 and had both of them replaced with the newer housing last year.

Do you happen to know the TSB number?

I have a 2011 and had both of mine replaced. Within 18 months, both needed replacement again. This set has had no problems.

Now there is one thing..... My car is out of warranty. I'm currently at 57,200 miles. Will they take it in?

Depending on the dealership, if you pressure them enough to do it. They'll have too. If they're a good dealership they won't give you a hard time.

Wish me luck guys. I always have bad luck when it comes to dealing with dealerships, I often manage to **** them off real quick and I dont want to do that this time. Any suggestions or tips on how to deal with then before I pay them a visit today?

I had mine replaced - you need to come with evidence (photos). The dealer needs to get approval from Lexus before replacing them. If you give them some good photos to send along to lexus, it makes the process easier.

Had one headlight bubble. Dealer replaced one. Looks like the lens is slightly different - I can tell from several feet away that the two headlights are different; annoying. I hope it doesn't bubble again.

Well both of mines are bubbled. So it will be self explanatory. I just had such a bad experience with dealership I'm already in defensive mode cause I know they will probably came up with my warranty is expired bull****.

Good news team. So i went to the dealership and tried to be as nice as possible. It was my lucky day, district manager was in the dealer today himself and the service manager took a look at my F and approved the out of warranty repair hassle free. Cheers for Lexus! Thanks guys, I feel so much better now.
