I wonder what Lexus does with these headlights after they've been replaced?!

I had to tell my dealership about it. Then they wanted pics before I actually brought it in. Then they had to take some time to "find it" in their system. IDK if it's just they'd never seen it before or what... End of the day I had new headlights.

Supposedly they get sent back to corporate. This way the dealership gets reimbursed for the parts and labor done on your car.

Sometimes they do. Many times they end up in the trash. It all depends on what Lexus wants. They surely don't have an interest in spending even more money shipping them to California only to be tossed in the trash there.

Will they let me keep them? I'm sure some bonehead would try to install these in a 2008-2010 ISF even if they are bad.

I think depends on your dealer but most likely they will not let you keep the old headlights for the same reason as wiloz32 mentioned above.

I asked my dealer for them back - they said they need to send it to "Lexus".

UPDATE: So my headlight were replaced and they are looking awesome! Now there are small issues.

1. Alignment seem to be off. I had the feeling they are pointing down. I know... Its just matter of readin the owners manual and just align them myself. Next is my biggest concern.

2. Before this job was done every time I turn the headlights on the Adaptive Headlight would activate and the headlight would go up and down. After this job was done it stopped doing that. What is wrong with my F?
