Default Concerned about possibly melting my Arkym diffuser?

So I just installed my Arkym Diffuser this past Thursday, it was my first body kit I've ever put on any car. I had my friend helped me so it was a bit easier. Anyways, when I put the diffuser on the car, I couldn't tell if it was crooked or not. Not until I inspected it up close to noticed that the right side is is maybe 1 mm slanted downwards which wasn't too much of a big deal as the diffuser looked perfectly straight on the car. The problem that I noticed was that the opening for the diffuser for the right hand side is actually touching the top of my exhaust tips whereas the left side of the diffuser (put on correctly I supposed?) is only 1 or 2 mm away from touching the top of the exhaust tips. Well after driving to work (5 miles / 15 minutes), I immediately checked if the heat from the exhaust would cause any damage to my diffuser. Well there was no damage but that was also only a 5 mile one way drive. I did noticed that the left side is also hot as well but definitely not as hot as the right side of the diffuser. My main question I supposed is, would this damage my diffuser over time or should I remove the diffuser and re-do the whole installation? If anyone out there is running an Arkym diffuser or any other types of diffuser, are your tips touching your diffuser or is it just me? I am doing a 400 mile long trip to Riverside next weekend to attend the FYeah 2015 event from Arizona so I definitely don't want my diffuser to melt by the time I get there.

Thanks, sorry for the long post. :O Pictures below for reference.

I would if it was mine(isn't Arkym one of the really expensive ones?), the exhaust on this car definitely gets hot enough to worry about contact melting it - even if its over time.

I wouldn't worry about it too much! The purpose of those exhaust diffusers attached to the bumper, is to deter the heat from the actual exhaust pipe from burning you. Thus, damaging your actual bumper as well.

The ARKYM diffuser should not touch the exhaust. Maybe you didn't push it up high enough or maybe over time the mold they are using got a little build up in it? I have one of the first 5 ARKYM diffusers built so that's why I say maybe the mold changed a bit over time.
I'll take a look at mine to see how far above the exhaust tips it actually is and get back to you.

You're right on that part, I'm almost 100% sure I did not raise it up high enough on the right side of the car. Now the only problem is I'm heading out to CA this Friday so I won't have time to fix it. I'll probably get it fix once I arrive back in AZ. Any methods on how to remove 3M tape?

Fishing line to remove it, I usually use a heat gun to make it soft and you can just pull it off sometimes

What about the residue that is stuck on the diffuser and rear bumper? Any tips on getting those off?

An adhesive remover dabbed on a wash cloth... Wet the tape, let it sit for w.e they advise.... I think the 3m remover I have is :30-1:00
Wash afterwards, do all of this in the shade or preferably a garage.

Your choice on solvent.
