Test drove an IS-F today and was checking if all the body panels were original. I could not locate the ones on the front fenders. Where do I find these? Is it under some trim? Could someone please attach a pic?

Also, how about the trunk lid? I didn't see it readily exposed?

I found them on all the doors and hood, but could not locate the ones on the front fenders under the hood.

Are they under a moulding or trim or should they be in plain sight?

If you are really ready to buy it then im sure they wouldnt mind you checking under the trims to verify that theyre there.

 

Are the ones for the front fenders under some trim?

 

VIN tags are visible in the following locations:

front fenders (roll back weatherstripping on each side near center of engine bay)
hood (center near leading edge)
front door (open door and look on edge)
rear door (open door and look on edge)
rear fenders (need to remove access panel in trunk)

Nice pics - handy to know where these are... Love your Supra too... I also have a 1997 in RSP. Don't you just love it?? Toyota only made ~22 of these in that color combination Always gets comments on the color - hence my choice for USB on my IS F. Addicted to electric blue

Thanks for this, is there a less zoomed in pic of the rear fender VIN tag...just trying to see which access panel is removed to be able to see the VIN tag there. The pic is too localized so cant tell where to pull the cover to see the VIN. Thank you.

I just had my trunk apart to replace rear struts and happened to take a pic of the vin tags, hopefully you can see the locations better
