Anyone on here paint the stock 2011 rims? Shiny black matte black or anything else?

Those are the best looking 2011 wheels I've seen. I'm not a big fan of the style, and blacked out it's not overwhelming.

You can plastidip them for matte black look.

I think I heard it wasn't good to powder coat the stock BBS wheels and best to paint them. Is this true?
