Default Memory Seats Issue

This past weekend a well known installer in the socal area installed a set of 2013 headlights on my 08 ISF. He even disabled my DRLs. The lights are working perfect however I noticed an anomoly. After the DRLs were shutdown my memory seats feature stopped working (assumption). Coincidence or error? I know the feature was working before the installation as I actually used it before driving to the installer (my wife had driven my car the night before). Now when I hit the saved settings only the mirrors move and not the seats. Anybody else had this issue or know what can be the cause of the problem? Can it be a user error with the techstream system, coincidence, or just failure? The seats still move back and forth manually.

Please help

Have you tried to set the memory again, and it still isn't working? Or are you just pushing the button trying to recall past settings from before the light install?

you do lose the settings when you disconnect the battery, but the OP is saying he has lost the whole function.

Maybe give the installer a call?

The battery was never disconnected during the install.

if it was are set thing the seats would take the memory setting again. If not there could be a wiring issue. I just had my seats out to fix a squeak and when I got it home my memory function was erased but was reprogrammable. Not sure what it is with headlight mods but I have seen many people in the GS and LS forum have weird crap happen when they start messing with ballasts, bulbs, and the entire assembly .

Can you call the installer?

Everything works now. Another member PM'd me a possible fix and it worked. I moved the seats completely back and forth on both sides then it took the memory again.

Thank you all for your inputs!
