Default Brake Pad Options

So I am due for new pads. I did not find any luck on the forums as to which are best. I want excellent stopping power like the OEM brembo pads but i want to switch it up and get something with less dust. So i have narrowed it down to three option.

Hawk HPS,
Hawk HP Plus,
Carbotech xp12 (Front) and xp8 (rear)

I do not go to the track much I do drive spirited on the street from time to time.

in a nutshell I want minimal dust, very strong braking power, and ultimately something that isn't to hard on the rotors.
brake squeal is not an issue

Thanks for the help!!!!!!

I'm curious on the topic as well. I have a set of unused Raybestos pads sitting in my garage (part of the goodies that came with the car). I've searched before, but I couldn't find anything on how these perform on our cars.

Same driving style as OP, but I'd like to cut down on the squeal if possible. Dust is my top concern since I was really amazed at how quickly these wheels get absolutely filthy. Doesn't help that the 2010 wheels are a pain to clean.

The Carbotechs are track only pads. You'll never get them to temperature driving on the street. I run them at the track and drive from home to the track and back with them installed. They are not pleasant for street driving at all.

All your pad choices suck for what you want out of the car.

HP+'s were probably the worst pads I had on my cobra BBK for my mk3 supra. They squeeled like crazy and grabbled WAY too hard focing my car to instantly lock up and force ABS to activate.

It was very unpredictable how much pedal pressure to apply because it was so grabby.

I would recommend the Stoptech cermaic's they won't have the same grab, but they should dust a lot less and I don't know why you want grabby breaks, you want something that is linear so that you can modulate the breaks well for stopping smoothly and also knowing the limit IMO.

If you aren't going to the track I say even the raybestos or any cheap things will work.
