I may have heard the beeping noise when I tapped the left paddle twice or so in auto mode though.

It will be a full year next month since I've had mine just did the first oil change at 3500 miles not too long ago. I don't drive it much and when I do, I still baby it

Maybe when it reaches 6000 miles or so, I'd be driving it more in manual mode

wow 1 year and only 3500 miles, you don't drive your car much at all.

I've had mine for 1 year and 2 months and I've just hit 20,000km

Driving around Atlanta for work, I normally leave it in D just to conserve fuel. When I do get a chance to go down a street that is pretty open, you bet your *** I have it in M and Sport! The exhaust is absolutely fascinating sounding when it rev matches. It still blows some of my friends away how an automatic transmission can do this.

Well, it's raining here so I can't test it. But, I had the chance to install this!

There are several different trains of thought on breaking in a high performance engine... The dealership/factory and racecar drivers all suggest different methods.

I break my cars in hard, lots of WOT runs without hanging out at the redline. Google break in procedures and there are plenty of sources and papers on why high load break in's are better for the longevity and strength of the motor. One of the papers comes from Porsche itself.

Oh I know I broke-in my dry sump 2J at the dyno

I do baby the F most of the time just because most of my driving is city streets and don't want to look like a maniac, But I do open her up every now and then. My Oil analysis after 3500 miles still shows a lot of signs of wear in.
