Anybody notice that the RCF has full duals unlike the ISF that has a two onto one into two system. And that includes all the axle back systems. The Meisterschaft and Novel full exhaust systems are also two into one into two, not real dual systems. The only true dual systems are the JoeZ, the Borla (not axle back system), the late ISS and the soon to be released PPE Dual Mode system.
Hey Lou,
I am thinking to pick up stock RC-F mufflers when someone swaps for aftermarket exhaust.
I would be so cool to retrofit the mufflers on the ISF, having a real tips just like ISS or HKS system.

How would you know it fits into the space of our bumper? It would be cheaper buying aftermarket tips and making it fit..

I am sure, that by the time this little project would take place, someone like our boy JoeZ
would have an idea if this would be possible. I think it would be unique.

Unique yes... Worth the time and energy in my opinion No. The sock chambered mufflers make things quieter...
For the new RC F we are already on the drawing board with a single enter and dual exit mufflers with proper tips... This next design will naturally fit into place and "look right" on the RC F...
We never bothered with the IS F to go this route since the odd shaped hole never really looked well with other tips besides OEM diffusers.... This was our observation during R&D back in 2008..
The 2015 RC 350 & RC F systems will be designed in tandem..!! Taking ques from what we already R&D'd on the 2014 IS line up..
Well I think they started to do true duals in the new 3IS. Here's a pic I took at a 3IS launch party. I was surprised that lexus went that route when I saw it.

Well of course... Actually the true duals has been around on the LS460 since its launch back in 06'..
Recently Lexus pushed it down to the 2013 GS350 (back in Jan 12') and now again with the 2014 IS250 & IS350..
The RC 350 & RC F will also receive it by design..

Wow didn't know the history... thanks... wonder why they didn't employ it on the F since it's a better option for performance... i just assumed since they didn't do it on the F, they never did it before...
Im still trying to see how bad the droning inside the car is with the exhaust. I had a Tanabe Medallion on my GS350 and a Borla on my G35 and they got annoying . Fun at first then you realize you just want to cruise sometimes and that drone would resonate in the cabin to the point where I had to open my windows for comfort. ( the car had full intake, plenum, headers, and cats) . GS350 only had the Tanabe medallion ( supposed to be a quiet exhaust) and it was still annoying after on long trips.
