Looking for a nav hack that allows input while moving. Anyone have experience with this?

Lots of good information on this site can be found using the search function. I have used equipment from VAIS Technology on several of my cars with relative success.

I've been using the Prestigious Society “plug and play” Navigation and Video Enhancement Module for a few years now and it works very well with both nav input while driving as well as DVD playback if you have backseat passengers in the mood for a movie.

Quick question somewhat related to this topic.....

Does the Mark Levinson sound system actually play DVDs back? I haven't tried yet but have been curious. If it does then either one of these modules that are mentioned here would be perfect.

Look ? its all wires inside your navigation lolz, it take about an hr or a bit more because of taking out AC vents and head unit with out damage it.

please note the following:

model years 2008 and 2009 use a DVD-based navigation system and can be bypassed using the "nav hack" method or with aftermarket alternatives (i.e. beatsonic, prestigious society).

model years 2010 and newer use a HDD-based navigation system and can not be bypassed using the "nav hack" method. the only way to do the bypass it is to go with aftermarket alternatives.

please check with the manufacturer to make sure that you are getting the right navigation bypass module for your model year/navigation system. modules made for the 08/09's won't work for the 2010+ MY's.

Both Prestigious Society and Beatsonic list their product for my 2011...so you're saying it won't work due to an HDD Nav setup?
