Default Random Call From My Lexus Sales Guy

I was coming from lunch with my officemates when my bluetooth phone rang. I made the mistake of answering and they all heard these info from my sales agent at Lexus:

He called to gauge my interest in the following new models coming out in a year and half:

1) V8 powered coupe more powerful than the IS-F ( RC-F?)
2) 2 + 2 with a hybrid powertrain which will be in the 100K range ( LC?)

He said that these new models are confirmed to come. I believe him as he called not to sell me anything but to inform.

So, for those of you thinking of moving to another brand or model, my suggestion is to wait it out.

 I'll believe it when I see it. It's not even on Lexus' website under future vehicles AS a future vehicle. Everything is concept right now. The only future confirmed vehicle is the 3G IS, which we all know about now.

Your salesman is a TERRIBLE salesman. Your interests today will be different from your interests in 1.5 years because who knows what car manufactures are bringing out. If Audi releases an RS4 Avant here in the US...I'm leaving Lexus for sure.

If I was a car salesman, I'd call people to see who I can sell a brand new Lexus ES or the new GS F-Sport RIGHT NOW IMMEDIATELY THIS SECOND. Then if Lexus decides to come out with a GS-F...I'll be on the phone with them again saying...DAMN you should upgrade! What a stupid salesman. Wastes his own time...LOL

That's exactly my point. It is either he is being stupid as the models are not even comfirmed and he is calling me up about them already. OR, he maybe operating under a corporate mandate to gauge interest.
Regarding the RS4, I like it as I am an Audi owner myself. But I would take the RS5 which suits me better as I am in the midwest.

Not that hard to find RS5's. There are 14 for sale in the nation on cars.com. I find it funny that there are only 18 2012 ISF's, and 2 2013 ISF's for sale in the entire nation on cars.com. The RS5 isn't that rare.

You know why there's 14 Audi RS5s for sale? Have you seen the price? Around 80k....20k more than a IS F. It's super rare considering how many are here in the US. Didn't they sell 500 2013 IS Fs? That's only 10 more than the number of RS5s they're bringing to the US

With that said it's overpriced......TTRS is faster, lighter and cheaper.

i seen 2 RS5s here locally within the past 2 weeks.... they are really nice looking I would trade for one if it had a bit more power... the launch control feature is awesome though and i guess it will have many more performance mod choices anyways

The european version with DCT is the bomb. It does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds or so. And I have seen a video on youtube where it annihilated an IS-F from a dig.

Oh yeah you're telling me... I spotted one last year just cruising... car looks mean in person too. From the factory I think it's almost as fast as the R8. Imagine that thing modded.......

I love how the Audi supposedly puts extra fuel between shifts so you can get a BLURP noise.... More fuel = more noise = screw the planet. WOOT!

hey VtotheJ...i just noticed your sig with the 2nd cat delete and straight pipes...do you have two separate pipes, or do both pipes merge into one pipe? I cut my pipe right before the rear resonator.

Two separate straight pipes. Still have my resonator, all I did was get the secondary cats chopped and same with the gigantic mufflers... stainless steel piping in place.
