12 ISF rear seat material issue
Anyone have this issue where left and right side have different material? My passenger side looks and feels normal, like rest of the car, while the driver side looks and feels like fake leather on a $50 Ikea office chair. I can push down on the surface and see a thin layer separating from the rest.

I believe that Lexus tries to use the same swatch material when selecting leather skins for their cars to keep die colors consistent. This may result in uneven thickness with the material and no two cars will be alike. I would expect this as it is hard to keep a consistent thickness of leather throughout the car.
This video explains their leathers process's.
The dealer will probably recognize a huge difference in quality between seats under warranty. If its as vast as you say, they will probably work with you on it.

I have a slight leather material finish "difference" on my drivers door, compared to the other 3 doors...
Never had the time to get it "corrected"
I'm still learning how to surpress my OCD tendancies..

UV damage? but there is no sign of fading. That one single section of seat cover is just made with inferior material than rest of the car.
