Got my oil changed yesterday by the dealership and they didn't reset the warning, I didn't notice till later as when they gave the car back it was running and waiting for me, I looked in the owners manual and it says change the display to the odometer, hold down the trip reset button and press the start button twice without turning the car on and it should display a complete message, well my F is a 2012 and there is no odometer only setting in the display so how do I do this? I tried on every display and it did not reset and that stupid red light and message are irritating.

Turn on the car on (don't start the engine). All cars have odometers...or else how do you know how many miles are on the car?
Put the car in the mileage reading...not trip read, just the mileage. Shut the car off. hold button down, turn on the car again (don't start the engine), you'll start seeing...
- - - - - -, then 000000. TA DAH!
If you can't do this...
I will restrain my comments because it's Easter Sunday.

I've never had my oil maintenance reminder come on, I was under the impression the ISF didn't have one. I've put on 20,000km since I bought the car but never had a reminder. I have changed the oil 5 times already though.

This option is not on Canadian cars...just the Nav screen as a maintenance option, which you have to program, maintain and activate.Originally Posted by Compthis

Lol that is pretty random. Maybe they think Canadians are smarter than Americans and know to change the oil without someone nagging at themOriginally Posted by Compthis

They made up for it by installing daytime running lights, that can't be turned off.Originally Posted by CUTigers
